Seventh-Day Adventist Church

Lancaster Adventist Church

My Whole Life

I was born to reflect the image of a God who is powerful enough to create my universe, attentive enough to hear my prayers and loving enough to be defined by self-sacrifice. I find my greatest fulfillment on a journey toward purpose and wholeness.

Our Beliefs

Seventh-day Adventist beliefs are meant to permeate your whole life. Growing out of scriptures that paint a compelling portrait of God, you are invited to explore, experience and know the One who desires to make us whole.

As you may be aware 2017 celebrates the 500th year of the Reformation. The Youth Department of the North England Conference launched an online video series called Lineage. The goal of this series is to connect us today with our spiritual heritage and to understand where we come from as a people. I would like to make you aware of this excellent resource and suggest some ways that it can be utilised. This video series is released weekly with a new video coming out online every Wednesday evening via
Youtube and Facebook

The video series is following a chronological journey from Constantine in the 4th century to around the year 1800. It includes episodes on reformers such as John Wycliffe, Martin Luther, John Calvin and groups such as the Waldenses and Albigensian's and how our history today is connected to the different parts of the Reformation. The series launched in January this year and it is currently on the 6th episode.  Each video is only 3-5 minutes long and all of them are filmed on site with stunning videographery. You can access the video’s online at:

There are a number of ways that the video’s can be used:
 Share them on your churches Facebook page or share the Youtube links to each week’s episode in your churches WhatsApp group
 Play them in church during Sabbath School or before the Divine Service
 Use them during Youth Sabbath School class
 Play them in AYS
 Use them in Personal Ministries timeslots
 Use them in conjunction with reading through the Great Controversy
We pray that this may be of blessing to you and ask that you let us know any feedback you may have throughout the year. Please look out for other events which will take place during the year
highlighting the 500th year of the Reformation.
